Excessive Sweating Information on Excessive Sweating Treatments

Anhydrol Forte

anhydrol-forteAnhydol Forte is a roll on treatment for excessive sweating which can be applied to the underarm area as well as your feet and hands.  Anhydrol Forte’s main ingredient is Aluminium Chloride which helps reduce the amount of sweat that can be perspired from the area you apply it to.  It does this by forcing the body to reroute the sweat elsewhere, where it will be able to leave the body easier.  The ingredients are not absorbed into the body, they just act on the skin, which means Anhydrol Forte is safe to use on a continual basis, during pregnancy or through breast feeding.

Anhydrol Forte is applied at night, just before going to sleep and you need to wash it off in the morning and use your usual deodorant.  It is applied at night as you will be horizontal when you sleep and this is when the sweat glands are least active.  You need to make sure that is applied to dry skin and not after a shower or bath.  If you do apply it incorrectly you may suffer from a skin irritation, though this will go if you temporarily stop the treatment.  For the first week or so, you will need to apply this nightly, however, as it starts to work you will only need to apply it for two nights in a row, then two nights off.  Depending on how well it controls your sweating this may be changed – you just need to see how it works for you.

Anhydrol Forte is similar to other Hyperhidrosis treatments, such as Dricor and the spray, OdabanPerspirX is a bit different as it does not require you to continue to use your usual deodorant.

If you do suffer skin irritation I’d recommend reducing the treatment, as you may be over applying, or applying too frequently.  Just like the other treatments, Anhydrol Forte does not require a prescription and can be bough from most health shops. I would recommend purchasing it online, just because it is a lot more affordable!
