Excessive Feet Sweating

A common area to suffer from excessive sweating is on your feet. Excessive sweating can happen to anyone and could be due to diet or stress. A lot of people sweat excessively from their feet. This is usually in conjunction with excessive hand or palm sweating, but it can happen by itself. Foot sweating is easier to hide than excessive palm sweating because hands are used in a lot of social situations. Though feet sweating is usually hidden by wearing shoes and socks, it can cause smelly feet, which are never pleasant.
Feet sweating can be a problem for women, who are more likely to want to wear shoes which do not hide the feet as much. In really excessive cases I have heard of people slipping over due to the amount of sweat produced on the soles of their feet.
If you suffer from excessive feet sweating you should thoroughly wash your feet every day, use clean socks and alternate your shoes. You should change which pair of shoes you wear every day, so that the previous pair can fully dry out before you wear them again.
Even with good hygiene, washing plenty of times and changing socks, excessive sweat can still happen. Sweating is the bodies way of controlling temperature, however around 1 – 2% of people suffering from an excessive sweating condition called Hyperhidrosis. It isn’t the nicest thing to suffer from, as it can be quite embarrassing, but thankfully it can be treated easily and cheaply using products available in most health shops, though I would recommend buying the products online as it is a reasonable amount cheaper – and much more convent!
There are four main products which you can use to combat excessive sweating on your hands or feet which are Odaban, Anhydrol Forte, Driclor and Perspirex hand and feet lotion. These products are the best place to start as they are easy to buy and apply, however you can use other treatments, such as Iontophoresis to treat excessive feet sweating.
