PerspireX

perspirex1A popular treatment for excessive sweating is PerspireX. You can buy it here. This is similar to other anti-perspirant roll ons I have mentioned on this website, but the main difference with Perspirex is that it does not require any other deodorants to be applied as you would normally!  This is one of the main advantages of PerspireX compared to the other brands as it means you do not need to apply deodorant every day, but use Perspirex every 3-5 days. If you do choose this treatment it may feel a bit unusual not to apply any other deodorants – you just have to trust it to do its work, and keep you dry!

For a deodorant to be called an anti-perspirant it needs to reduce the amount you sweat by at least 20%.  PerspireX reduces sweat by a staggering 65-70%!  This statistic was found out by an independant laboratory, it isn’t just some far fetched manufacture claim!

To start with you should apply it to dry armpits before going to bed, every night until your sweating is under control. Once it is under control you will only need to apply the product once or twice a week (some people can go up to 14 days between applications, without using any other deodorant). This shows just how strong it is – all of its rival brands require additional deodorant during the day.

It is very important to apply to dry underarms – even use a hair-dryer to make sure there is no moisture. If you over apply, or apply to slightly wet underarms it can result in painful irritations and soreness. It is very tempting to apply liberally when you start, but make sure you follow the instructions! The PerspireX has a patented formula to minimise skin irritation. With the other roll ons it is possible to have some mild soreness.

Unlike with the other 3 brands, PerspireX offers a specialised solution for underarms, and a lotion for hands and feet. The other roll ons and spray are multi-functional. This does mean that this could work out more expensive, though chances are there is just one area affecting you.

There are different forms of Perspirex for different applications. There is an underarm roll on, but a lotion for hands and feet. Perspirex does not require a prescription and can be bought in high street health shops, though I would recommend buying it from an online pharmacy as it will be a lot cheaper!
